Who do you think is the Leasgues' MVP ? That is the question that will be asked of all the teams in the BEFF. Each team will pick who they feel is that Special Player. The players name will be placed on a ballot and voted on by his peers. The winner of the contest will be honored at the League dinner. The voting has started..Good Luck to all.BRONCOS QB JASON WALKER HURT IN CHAMPIONSHIP GAME.
During the championship game, QB Jason Walker of the Broncos was injured when sacked by the Packer defense. Walker suffered a broken bone in his foot and had to have surgery the following day. Jason was a major part of the Broncos red hot end of season run that led them all the way to the championship game. The injury might sideline Jason for the 2008 soon. we all wish him a speedy and complete recovery.
LEAGUE LOOKING TO HOST THEIR FIRST ALL-STAR GAME IN MAY OF 2008
The BEFF is looking to host their first ALL-STAR game in May 2008. The game would be played at the St.lawrence Sports Center. "We had our championship game their and it was a great event." said Commissioner Dexter Girven. "the facility is beautiful and a great place to play a big game at." Coach Jermaine Saunders of the NJ Cynder will be Heading the All-Star board staff as well as Deputy Commissioner Al Alston. Talks are going on right now with the DVIFL and couple more leagues to be a part of the event. some of the top players that will be playing in the game would be Packers MVP RB Dwain Lofton and Defensive stand outs Chris Riggins and Robert Cherry. This will be a four star event. DON'T MISS IT !
